Reflexology uses the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet and hands.  These areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and stimulating these points has a beneficial effect on those organs and the person’s general health.

Reflexology is based on the Chinese principle that certain areas on the soles of your feet or hands – known as reflex zones – containing millions of nerve endings, correspond to other parts of the body.

Although reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure health disorders, research shows that reflexology has a positive effect in the treatment of conditions like anxiety, asthma, cancer treatment, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, headaches kidney function, PMS, and sinusitis.  Cancer patients experienced a reduction of pain, nausea, diarrhea or constipation, and improved quality of life with reflexology.
